Yes. I have a male Shih-tzu who is very even tempered except while protecting my Pug and Long haired Chihuahua.  He doesn't even bark much. He sheds a lot of hair though...

HI! I was wondering-are chihuahuas aggressive dogs like I've heard? Are they as nice as shih tzus? I'm sorry to change the subject like that, but I was just wondering, because I thought that I would probably be interested in a chihuahua. It's between a chihuahua and a shih tzu, so, which one do you think makes a better pet?

I Have A Lovely Shih Tzu Called Molly.. The Shih Tzu Needs More Work Than The Chihuahuas
As It Needs Grooming. Shih Tzu Aren't Yappy Dogs As Chihuahuas Are.

Well I think Shih Tzu are great companions they are the best, they follow you everywhere you go and when you come home from a stressful day from work they are there waiting for you receiving you withlots of love. My Shih Tzu is the best his name is Tigger and I love him dearly I really don't know what I;ll do without him. So Shih Tzu are better companion.
