We have a 16month old neutered UKC registered black/white/tan treeing walker coonhound that we would like to place in a forever home.  He has a strong prey drive and would make a good hunter.  Sweet, affectionate and loving. Housebroken (doggy door).  Gets along well with other dogs of a certain size.  The reason we are having to let him go to another home is he has suddenly taken a extreme dislike for our tiny Jack Russell Terrier.  Perhaps viewing him as prey?  Gets along beautifully with our other six dogs (hounds, lab, shepherd, chow).  His inoculations are current, heartworm preventive monthly since 6 months of age. Healthy, gorgeous, all 60 pounds of him!!!  carolyn.terry@gte.net

I have a two-year-old intact female purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound.  Her name is Josephine (Joey).  She is very sweet and affectionate to everyone, including our two cats and my five-year-old daughter.  The problem is that I have been diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease and am no longer able to care for her appropriately.  She is healthy and very high energy, but is not up-to-date on her shots.

I have a 5 week old tree walking coon hound/black lab cross.  She appears to be mostly hound-I can not see much lab in her.  We acquired her at a bad time and unfortunately have to give her up.  She was born 6-2-04 and has been weaned from the mother. Very nice temperment and lots of personality.  Not asking for any money, just want a good home for her.  Located near Alexandria, MN

I have an affectionate, intelligent, neutered female treeing walker who is house and crate trained. She sheds very little, and is so graceful my husband named her Willow. He rescued her starving little body, living on the streets of the inner city last year, and gave her basic obedience training and socialization. She is mostly good with our other 6 dogs, but can get protective at the food bowl or when playing with toys. She is cold all of the time, and loves to sleep in bed under the covers. She also loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch. She was my husband's dog, and he left me for a woman he met on the internet. I cannot care for all 7 dogs he left behind, and she never really bonded with me. She is happiest indoors, but likes to spend time outdoors as well. She walks well on a leash if you are consistent with her commands. I would be willing to get her to a good, permanent home at my expense. debsurvil@hotmail.com

I rescued a 9 mo old walker coon hound who had been left in the country and was starving.  He is in need of a home with a fenced in yard or a farm, as he is very unhappy staying on my porch!

He is friendly, wants to please, gets along with my male dog and is not aggressive to children or cats.  Loves to romp and play outside.

He is spayed, has all shots, and had an eye removed because of a traumatic injury.  Gets along fine without it. I will part with him for free to a good home.

We have a 9-month-old spayed Treeing Walker Coon Hound.  She's a nice dog, but she barks too much to be in town.  She seems to have great hunting instincts.  We would like to find her a good home.  We're in western South Dakota.  If you're interested send an e-mail to djbaer@rushmore.com

i have a fixed female foxhound/walker i am trying to place in a good home. she loves to be around people, she may be shy at first but what do you expect from a dog who was once abused, she love to be around animals of any shape or size. she is gun shy at this time but you may be able to work with her if you want to use her for hunting, when i got her she would run away if you snapped your fingers, now she doesn't even run if i drop her bowl on the cement floor in my garage. i would love to keep her but i don't have enough room for her to run.
