Does anyone know if they realeased "Tokyo Mew Mew Episodes" DVD in english? And if they have where can i buy them?

The series has yet to be dubbed in english, and finding the actual dvd's online will run you about 48 dollars a volume. But on ebay you can get vcds for a relativly decent price

there is a total of 45 episodes of tokyo mew mew. the ending of the japanese animation is the most beautifull ending ive ever seen on any other anime.. i suggest to collect them all. For future generation.

About Ebay Mew Mew .vcd'sor DVD costs:  I purchased 1-22 on VCD format for about $15.  The episodes were subtitled on the vcd's  Some sellers now have the DVD to episode 32, and they are subtitled as well.  The DVD'sare about $15-19.

There are actually 52 episodes in all ^^ I only have episdoes 1-26, which I got off of Ebay, but I can't find any places that have the rest of the series, like 27-52. Other than the manga and some plushies in certain anime shops, I doubt there are any anime stores in the US with Tokyo Mew Mew DVDS/VHS tapes

I wish They would make the T.V. show!  But if you like Tokyo Mew Mew then for now read the books.  They're awesome!  I've read 1-5 and I definitely think you should read them!  I mean it's not like they anything else in English.

Tokyo Mew Mew isn't in English yet. And if it will be, I'll be shocked. I have 26 episodes on two CDs from eBay, and I doubt it'll be dubbed.

If you're looking for at least 26 episodes, go to eBay, type in Tokyo Mew Mew and it'll bring up some stuff. If taht doesn't work, find a place where you can enter an account name, and type in: gingertoys
She's the one my okaasan bought the two CDs from, with subtitles and everything.

They are going to bring Tokyo mew mew to the us this summer or autumn! the will rename it 'Hollywood Mew Mew' and i heard they are going to take out the fight at Tokyo tower! T-T *sob* but at least they are bringing it here at all. if you happen to go on ebay, don't by ANYTHING from animus80. he is a bootlegger and committed fraud! i still haven't got my TMM dvds from him.... **sob**

There's this thing called Toonami on Cartoon Network and they show anime but I don't think they want to show Tokyo Mew Mew. But they used to show Hamtaro, and if they show that, why not TMM?

They are going to change Ichigo'sname to Strawberry on Hollywood Mew Mew. Mint will be Mina. Lettuce will be Lory. Zakuro will be Pam. Pudding will be Paddy. Ryou will be Ryan. Masaya will be Mark.

I won't hate, but I hate them \./. You can get the episodes online. All you guys who got suckered into buying off of eBay, I bet those people just downloaded the fansubs and put them on DVDs. Honobono has 1,2, and 30-37 on their web(bit torrent, find a link to their site at www.animesuki.com) Honobono also has 14-29 from their irc channel. A few others have bit torrents too. just look around.

Also, 4kids has this AWFUL habit of messing with story lines and such. But the even worse habit is that they only release their version. Which means that we won't be able to buy any english DVDs of anything close to the Tokyo Mew Mew we know and love, nor will we be able to buy subtitled DVDs of Tokyo Mew Mew PERIOD. And hopefully, NetFlix will have the original Tokyo Mew Mew DVDs like they had with Card Captor Sakura and Bishoujo Senshi Sera Muun.

Tokyo Mew Mew is meagerly OK comparing it to other Anime i've seen, but I like it mostly cuz of the bright color anr 3D special effects. XD

i got the manga 1-4 but the shop which i get them from are really mean, they wont order inu yasha (the episodes) or toyko mew mew (also episode's). my m8 says that Hollywood plant near Piccadilly has all sorts of anime the toys book episodes movies etc but i cant go all the way there just for that so if any1 has been there can u tell me if they do sell them.

First off, I am so glad that they are going to show TMM in the US!  BUT, I am so mad that they are going to change the names and the title!  Its like changing the title Inu Yasha into "Dog Demon" or Sailor Moon into "Solder Moon". (you get what I mean?)  Do us all a favor, keep the title because the orengenal is a lot beter and more fans will not get confuse because of the "new" title.  Yeah, I know that in Sailor Moon that the names were changed but it was all right.  And now my question, "When (as in date) will they premiere it on the US TV?  Who are going to play the voices?  Are you sure that it is going to be on FOX?"  Thank you for taking the time to answer!  Y'ALL MY HEROES!!!!!!!!!

I have read on the Internet that they are definately going to put Hollywood Mew Mew on FoxBox. I am not sure who the voice actors are going to be and when exactly they going to show it on TV in the US. There is another show that I saw the premiere to yesterday in the morning called The Winx Club and it is going to actually start showing June 19th. Anyways, what I am saying is that what I read on the Internet somewhere that The Winx Club will come first and that Hollywood Mew Mew will come later in the year, which I don't know exactly that is going to be. I hope I was helpful enough to you.

I really hate this!!!T.T!Why have they gotta ruin TMM for!? Anyways The manga is always better... I have 1-7 ,and plan on buying Tokyo Mew Mew Alamode whenever it comes out in the U.S ,but the thing is if they cut out the parts where Ichigo fights deep blue then what's that going to do for the show!? Couldn't they have just left the names alone!? I heard Ichigo's name may be Sasha ,but I dunno if that's true ,or not...I think I'm going to ask hastings if they can order the first volume of the Tokyo Mew Mew sereis on DVD for me ,but if not I'll find some way to get the real version!Why do they have to butcher my favorite anime!?*hugs Ichigo* No Ichigo!:'(

I think that Pam is a good name. And I personally think that Hollywood cat cafe sounds just as stupid as cafe mew mew. And glamour transform sounds just as stupid as mew mew strawberry metamorphosis, only they don't have to say as much THANK GOD!!! I'm sure that they'll change their dumb attack phrases too. "Ribbon Strawberry Check", gimme a break..... I think I'm going to like Hollywood Mew Mew...

Here is what I found on a site about when they will start showing Hollywood Mew Mew on the FoxBox in the U.S.

I looked on a website about hollywood mew mew and I found out that they are going to premeire the show in the fall time on foxbox in the U.S. Somebody has posted it on the site, but I don't know if it is accurate enough. :/

The people who hate HMM I know are just being annoying by posting angry messages and the ones who like it aren't really thinking about how bad this whole dubbing thing is. Here's a reason why the butchering of TMM is so terrible that I have never heard from anyone: people whose JOB it was to animate, direct, voice act and do everything else are having their hard work changed! I suggest that everyone check out the original Japanese version and that TMM watch HMM (since it'll be better than nothing) while continuing to support TMM.

Hollywood Mew Mew is going to be the worst dub ever, even worse than Cardcaptors. They are just forcing people to bootleg with that kind of stupidity. Yeah, like kids nowadays don't know the difference between Hollywood and Tokyo...

I saw Tokyo Mew Mew DVDs At a Japanese store and i Got them so i have the DVDs!

P.S. The Japanese store i went to was in Canada i forget the name because i only went there on a to see Family Members.i live in ohio

HEY I FOUND THE SITE W/ EVERY SINGLE TMM EPISODE! EVEN THE A-LA MODE~ ONE'S! GO TO AMOTokyo.com TO FIND THEM! THEY R IN DVDS AND VHS(IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN!!!!!) AND THEY ALSO HAVE ALL THE CDS THERE TOO(SINGLES AND  HENSHIN SONG CD'S) IT'S ABOUT 20-60$ A SET. AND THERE ARE 6 EPISODES IN A SET AND 10 SETS! THESE(I DO BELIVE!) ARE LIMITED! I have downloaded about 10 episodes off free fansubbers in order: (thanks to honoboro fan subs)
ep 1, ep2, ep30, ep31, ep32, ep33, ep34, ep35, ep36, ep37, ep38.
These are from the japanese version go to honoboro's site to download them, or contact me: isolate@iinet.net.au    It is unfortunate that you cant get the episodes whether you go to ebay or not because they are not originals and secondly are impossible to find, one of my friends has just gone to tokyo and is trying to track them down as even in japan the dvd's are hard to find. The shortage can all be blamed on the fact the studios let a small distribution company handle the distribution of the anime. GOOD LUCK ANY ONE THAT TRYS TO FIND THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE ANIME seriously (or it will be too damn expensive).

I went to the 4KIDS site and they kept calling it TOKYO mew mew and they were talking about... like..uh...(don't quite remember) somethin' like them being JAPANESE crime fighters 'n stuff...
AND when I first read the article about HOLLYWOOD mew mew on pummeldex.de/ earlier this year, it was talking about it coming on television later (preferebly in september) THIS year in 2004, the new article they have for TOKYO mew mew they said 2005 (unless it's just a typing error...) probably because of changing the changes they made.
I suggest just seeing the show... WHENEVER it comes, when it truly airs.

P.S. my mom says to count to ten before sending a e-mail (or in this case, posting on the... wait... what is it called again...?)

They are dubbing it as we write! It will be on Foxkids or something fall 2005! Except they call it 'hollywood mew mew' so little kids don't get confused. Sorry, only in North America... 4Kids is making the dub, by the way!

In case anybody'sis wondering about Tokyo Mew Mew coming to FoxBox and all, they are going to show a sneek peek episode of it next week along with two other shows as well. They said that it is coming this fall and I think they only liscensed the first 26 episodes of it. I hate it when that happens cause they did that with Sonic X and also Shaman King. fox box is on a channel called upn33 but its only on on sunday and from 7:00am-12:00pm so wake up to watch it its called mew mew power instead of tokyo mew mew !so wake up to watch it cuz there is a sneak peak this sunday!

come on Strawberries[TMM fan name that i made up] stop being mean to each other.We should respect one another for being Strawberries.I do.
I don't care if they change the names of everything[munch] all i care is that TMM or HMM doesn't end up being terrible.
i watched alot of anime and they always say tat the dubbed version is terrible,but i ,i love  some of them.[i usually only watch the anime]so maybe TMM wont be so bad.

I believe that the "nine lives" thing and the "high IQ" ect. were just phrases to descibe them in the preveiw.... they have nothing to do with the storyline..... Cherry should cool down.... I also personally think the theme song they made matches the show perfectly. And Mew Mew Power will most likeley never tell us what city they live in..... that way, EVERYONE'S happy! (besides.... they never tell us where the characters in the other shows live either...)

Hiyaz! I'm a bit wary of this whole 4kids dubbing thing. I mean I've had a lot of bad luck with dubs (eg. Cardcaptors and Sailor moon are two examples, I mean they butchered my favourite animes! T.T) And as far as I know, once they change the name, its all down hill from there. Also does anyone know where I can buy Tokyo mew mew in Australia? PLEASE HELP!

Just click the box with Ichigo on it. Also, they changed the title to MewMew Power. Dunno if that's better for the people who were complaining, but whatever. They gave them weird names, though o.x Ichigo is Zoey, Mint is Carina, Lettuce is Bridgett (ew), Pudding is.. well I couldn't hear what they said, and Zakuro is Renee. I think the theme song is pretty cool :D But what do I know, I have a bad taste in music x3. Hope I was informative :)

Tokyo Mew Mew's name got switched to Mew Mew Power. Then it was going to air on the Fox Box starting Setember 18th. But now they're saying(in a 4kids press release)that MewMew Power isn't going to air!! There is a rumor, however, that it will start in the winter. It's just a rumor, though

Excuse me but they did show it in the US but here it`s called Mew Mew Power.  Here is the link it was soposed 2 air sept.18 but it didn`t air that day me & so other TMM/MMP fans think that when Winxs Club has ended they will showw Tmm/MMP it goes on FOXBOX @ 8

I believe that they're coming put sometime in the next 2-3 years. It's going to be the whole box set when it comes out at DVD Planet. They got a lot of good anime there. You can check it out for yourself at dvdplanet.com.

I heard from a friend that the Tokyo Mew Mew episodes are supposedly going to be aired on Fox (Kids)on Saturday mornings. I saw a commercial for it on Fox but I do not know when it will be aired. Probably September 2005. I'm not sure though so don't sue me.

well itwell its 2005 tokyo mew mew stil doesnt come out on the fox box and its mew mew power not hollywood mew mew the video used to be on foxbox.com i didnt really pay attention to it but one of the mews name is Briget or whatever in the fox box website they have tmm intheir cartoon section abd a small clip so i reckon it is going to come out someday hmmmmm... let me go e-mail the fox box

well itwell its 2005 tokyo mew mew stil doesnt come out on the fox box and its mew mew power not hollywood mew mew the video used to be on foxbox.com i didnt really pay attention to it but one of the mews name is Briget or whatever in the fox box website they have tmm intheir cartoon section abd a small clip so i reckon it is going to come out someday hmmmmm... let me go e-mail the fox box

It's not called Hollywood Mew Mew! The title of the dub is Mew Mew Power or MMP for short. Ichigo is Zoey, Zakuro is Renee, Lettuce is Gretchen, and Pudding is Kiki. The official Mew Mew Power can be found here: foxbox.tv/mewmew/

I think you can download some episode's of Tokyo Mew Mew at Honobono'sBit torrent.  The English Tokyo Mew Mew is now called Mew Mew Power and the voice actors suck.  They even changed Ichigo'sname to Zoey Hanson, Mint is called Correna, Lettuce is called Bridget, Pudding is called Kikki,Zakuro is called Renne Roberts and they called Kish, Pie and tart Cyniclon.

hmm.... as of recently Tokyo Mew Mew WAS released in english, but its now Mew Mew Power and it airs on Saturday mornings. The dubbing company is 4Kids Entertainment, and they've killed it. The DVD releases will NOT have the original Japanese Episodes on them but will have either the Italian or the Spanish versions on them, along with the default english language dub on them.

The series is not dubbed in english. If it was their mouthes would be moving all funny and they dont! If they said "I like a cottage cheese" then it would look like they are saying  "poo poo panties". So YAH!

Umm there Region 2 ORIGINALS just to let you know...the ones on Ebay are umm backups lol.
The Region  ones are Japanese voiced with no subs lol x_x

HAHA you all call yourselves TMM fans, i got the DVDs off eBay and they're like the real thing, A+ quality and I got the whole series! if you were all TRUE fans then you would be trying A LOT harder than you all are to get the episodes! but i guess you wouldn't since I'M the BIGGEST tokyo mew mew fan on the PLANET! i practically am ichigo, i think the creators saw me and decided to base me on her

Yes, they have put Tokyo Mew Mew on TV, but they changed in a little.  It is now called Mew Mew Power and the show is on every saturday morning around 7:00 on KHON!!!!!!!!!

Tokyo Mew Mew was put out in Japan about 2 years ago.  You can buy Japanese DVDs of it, but they aren't subtitled.  If you want a subtitled version Honobono has made one that is available for download free. And yes, they did make a dub, Mew Mew Power (this dub is extremely inaccurate)

I don't think you should get the anime. It's very bad. The voices they have are are horrible and they changed all the peoples names. I don't even think they are even letting it take place in Japan!

Go to 4kids.tv for the schedual to see if you get it where you live. But i really do now think it's worth buying. The manga is much much better.

yes, i noe where to get some tokyo mew mew episodes..... u just have to download them from TorrentBox.com they have episodes from 1-40 and u can download a lot more shows and movies and stuff... it's pretty kool!!! except u have to have a bitorrent in order to upload them so u can watch them...

To those at the top, Tokyo Mew Mew was released in America a while ago on FoxBox and REALLY SUCKS if you're a fan of Tokyo Mew Mew. It's called 'Mew Mew Power' *cringes* and almost lost it's entire story when it was made ... "American" ... Of you liked the mangas a lot, I suggest not watching 'Mew Mew Power' , but if you don't care if it's any good or not and just want to watch it, it's on FoxBox. I don't know what times or day(s) because I don't watch it, but I just thought you guys might want to know. Plus, if anyone has found a site with fansubs for Tokyo Mew Mew that I can download (Not in Torent), I would greatly appreciate the help. See Ya!

Okay I sent something yesterday about fox kids, but reading what everyone else has, "I have the episodes blah blah blah". They're all in japenese aren't they? With english subtitles. I'm tooo lazy to read wahhh :'0 I'm watching 'em on Tv hahahaha. And everyone, CONTACT THEM on their website tell them exactly this *ahem* On your video demand (which is were u can watch the episodes online) you don't have mew mew power (yeah thats what they're calling it now) And I demand for it to be apart of video demand. 'm sure that i'm coming in on this conversation way way too late but i was checking the tv listing and i think winx club originally came out on miguzi (another cartoon network thing) and there's no TMM or HMM on there.  i promise, i would know.  i don't really watch anything other that cartoon network.  i also gutted cartoonnetwork.com and there was nothing about new shows coming up or tokyo mew mew.  but i did find something about knights of the zodiac.  that really shocked me.

I bought episodes 1-48 on 5 DVDs off ebay for $20...but it didn't have the best presentation...The DVDs came wrapped in a piece of paper that had been stapled into an envelope, and they were blank white with the words "V.1" through "V.5" on them...<<;=>>;  They work though, so I'm happy.

They already have the english version out on 4 kids tv check there website 4kidstv.com
the english version is called mew mew power and they changed everyones names, and they cut out alot of stuff. i suggest that you get the subtitled ones.

Yeeeeeeeeeah, this is kind of old news, but...

The "It's-going-to-air-in-2005" people were right. The "It's-going-to-be-TMM" people were wrong. It's Mew Mew Power, their phrase is "Power Pendant Mewtamorphosis" among other things, Ichigo is Zoey, Mint is Corina, Lettuce is Bridget, Pudding is Kiki, and Zakuro is Renee. Kishu is Dren, Pai is Sardon, Taruto is Tarb, Aoyama is Mark, Shirogane is Elliot, and Keiichiro (<3) is *shudder* Wesley J. Coolridge. They're ALL in high school now, every one of them. Keiichiro'sage was decreased by 4 years and Pudding's was increased by 6.

Oh, and by the way, both 4Kids AND Tokyopop SUCK. (Somebody PLEASE tell me how "Chikyuu no murai ni, gouhoshi suru ~nyan" translates to "Let's kick butt for the future of our planet!"!! >.<)

They do have the show Tokyo mew mew in America on Foxbox or 4kids TV it's called Mew Mew Power and Ichigo's name is Zoey, Lettuce's name is Bridget, Mint's name is Corina, Pudding's name is Kikki and Zakura's name is Renee. Beleive me i've watched it. It's kind of cool but not as cool as Tokyo mew mew in Japenese besides i have Tokyo mew mew A La Mode it's really great i've read like 10 times already in one day. Okay, the dub is out. FoxBox is on Fox every Saturday morning. And the dub is called Mew Mew Power.
Ichigo's named Zoey, Zakuro is named Renee, Mint is named Corina, Lettuce is named Bridgette, Purin is named Kiki, Ryou is named Elliot, Masaya is named Mark, Keiichiro is named Wesley, Tart is named Tarb, Pai is named Sarb, and Kish is named Dren.

Hey guys just so u guy know but dont give hopes up but they are not comming out for a long time.  Cause here the DVD/VHS process first the jap version comes out.  Then the Cantonese version comes out approx 5 months to finish the cantonese dub.  And ususlly the slow North American catch up takes  approx 1-2 years!!!!!!!!! But the way it comes out is always incomplete so its almost impossible to collect the entire thing.  Its the same with Gundam Seed ive been searching or 2 year and out of the 12 disk set i only gave 3 LOL

Okay . . . I don't know about 'Hollywood Mew Mew' but I definitely know there is 'Mew Mew Power' a remake of 'Tokyo Mew Mew' on channel 5, Foxtel (In Australia). I haven't actually seen the Japanese episodes or read the Japanese manga, but apparently 'Mew Mew Power' has been changed. Most episodes are only 70% correct (in comparason to Tokyo Mew Mew).

I'll give you a list of the characters and their english names:

Ichigo - Zoey
Mint - Corina
Lettuce - Bridget
Pudding/Purin - Kikki
Zakuro - Renee
Ryou - Elliot
Masaya - Mark
Keiichiro - Wesley
Kissue - Dren
Taruto/Tart - Tarb
Pie/Pai - Sardon
Masha - Mini Mew

Yeah, that's about it. Unfortunately, I haven't watched 'Mew Mew Power' long enough to find out there last names.

The prices have gone down on some sites, but I've only seen the American version being sold. Umn, may I bring up, that in America it is in fact NOT "Hollywood Mew Mew" but "Mew Mew Power", which is the dumbest name EVER. wow, reading this all, 3 years later, after TMM came out as Mew Mew Power, the Manga has 7 volumes in english, and everyone here is about 3 years older than they were when they wrote this forum, is pretty interesting. if anyone wants TMM media, go to my website at www.freewebs.com/annachanx33 and then click on Resources.

I hope so because Mewmew Power isn't as good as Tokyo Mewmew itself. I mean Tokyo Mewmew is some of what I live for. So, in any case I HOPE THEY DO HONESTLY I HOPE THEY DOOOOOO!

What's up!
I'm new to this whole post board thing and I really hope that Tokyo Mewmew comes into the US. I really love it and it means alot to me in several ways. So I can't think of any more words to say and please don't think I'm weird but I really hope that we could be friends. I agree, I really hope TMM comes out into the US!

They now have the first season of Tokyo mew mew in English on youtube, they have not named the it Hollywood mew mew they decided to call it mew mew power if you would like more info on where to find them then email me on anime_girl_aime@hotmail.co.uk

No, I don't think they have Tokyo Mew Mew DVD's in english. But, there is a dubbed version of it. It's called Mew Mew Power. Pretty neat show.

Mew Mew Power - Eng Version (Not Good)
Mew Mew: Amiche Vincenti - Italian Version

In my opinion the japanese version is the best and i would watch it with subtitles, the eng version mew mew power isnt very good and i dont like it, they have changed all the names and OP and Ending themes and the sayings in it also the voices are horrible, but thats my opinion....the italian version is quite good as im italian and i still watch in subtitles they have changed some names but its alright, they are all out on DVD and you can buy the manga on Ebay and Amazon i think its a very good anime and would recomend it to alot of people ^_^

If you have bittorrent, you can download the whole series from a site called demonoid.com. As of current though they aren't having open-registration due to server errors so i'mnot sure on the quality, but people have said it is good. If you're willing to wait a week or so you can download the torrents from that site. Its a farely large file, 9.6 GB so I'm assuming it has some quality.

There is a fan sub of the original 52 episodes. Try BoxTorrent for it. I wish I could find the 'A la mode' episodes tho.

I have Tokyo Mew Mew episodes #1-26 but they're all in Chinese. I got them for my birthday when I was in China and I'm really anxious to get the rest of the series. I've found some websites that talk about all of the series and even new characters that are in the rest of the series. Just search Tokyo Mew Mew on google and you'll know what happens in the rest of the story.
