how do i wire a dusk to dawn light?

There are two alternatives:
1) Photocell/photoresistor light fixture, and
2) Timer

Option 1) adapts to seasonal changes, and
it has the advantage of turning the lights
on if it is dark outside (e.g. rainstorm) regardless of the time of day.  Furthermore, 1) is cheaper and easier to install (wiring is not different than a conventional light.)

Option 2) is more precise, and is appropriate when the light needs to come on/go off at exactly the same time each day.  That solution generally involves installing a timing switch and powering the light from the switch.
