My X-wife quit her job and filed bankruptcy, will my Child support go up?

Generally not in the short term.  If your ex-wife quit without good cause, her bad-faith action cannot be used to increase your support obligation.  However, depending on state law, when your child support obligation is periodically re-reviewed for adjustment, if she still has not secured new employment, then her lower income level may cause your obligation amount to increase.  Furthermore, her bankruptcy petition has no effect on your obligation level.

That is a good question.  Did you ever find out the answer.  Can she just quit her job and file for bankruptcy?  Then you pay more?
