I have a 9 month old Papillon that thinks he has to mark everything in our house with his pee. How can I get him to stop doing this. He could be let out to potty and come right back in and pee in the kitchen. HELP

Is your dog fixed? This generally helps the problem, but does not allways cure it. We had experience with a beagle doing the same thing. Unfortunatly, the answer seems to be pacience. We took our dog outside to pee every 2 hours, repremanded sharply but briefly after the occurance and IMMIDIATLY ran him outside. He got better, however slowly. If he is new to your household, the problem should get better as he begins to recognize the house as his and no longer thinks he needs to declare it. Crate training, if you have not already done this, should help too.

I have a Papillon with very very full silky
hair. He seems to have gotten fuller this
summer.  My concern is that the amount of
hair I am getting on the brush this summer.
It is a little alarming to me.  He still has
enough hair, has no itching and seems very
healthy. Is this normal for some Papillons?
My other Papillon has a different coat
entirely....smooth and a little coarse.Just
a nervous mother.

I HAVE A PAPILLON THAT IS EXPECTING HER FIRST LITTER OF PUPS IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS.  I READ ON ANOTHER SITE THAT 50% OF PAPILLON PUPPIES ARE BREACH AND REQUIRE A C SECTION.  IS THIS TRUE?  THANKS,  BRENDA
