If someone wrath of gods and I have Jareth the Giant Cat...

If someone wrath of gods and I have Jareth the Giant Cat Legend and I give him protection from white does he live or does he get destroyed?

Protection from white would only prevent a white spell from TARGETING your creature. If he cast a swords to plowshares on your Jareth, and you gave it pro-white, the swords would be countered, since it says "target creature". Wrath of god does not use the word target, so protection from white wont do anything.
