Can anyone help me price the following silver certificate? The following is the certificate specifics:
Grade-VF condition, has 1 fold down the middle and a barely visible crease a little to the right of that. The paper is crisp, slightly stained in spots, but very well preserved.Unfortunately it has been signed by a few people whose names, I personally, cant fully make out.
Series-1935A
Serial# on front-S45377020C
Check#-2953
Color of seal-Gold
Stamped on both ends of the front in small letters and once all the way across the back in large letters is-HAWAII.It looks as though it came from the treasury like that.
There is a "D" printed (front side) under and to the left of "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Then another one down by the Secretary Treasurers name, but with the #'s 5571 next to it.
Anyways, there's a pretty good description and I appreciate any efforts and/or help on gettin' it priced. Thanx again:)  ~

Hi..you have a Hawaii silver certificate. These notes were issued during the World War 2 and issued to Hawaii with the idea if the island was captured by the Japenese these notes would be declared worthless. The hand signed signatures on your note maybe from US service men stationed in Hawaii during the war. With the description of your note in VF grade it would have a book value of around $25.
Hope this helps.

Pete

A friend of mine showed me a 1934 US$100,000 gold certificate authenticated and with a watermark. Does that make it authentic? Serial Number is A0000C583A. It comes in an attache case with "Federal Reserve" , "United States of America". Also has an SN No, SD No and PD No on the case. How do I tell whether its authentic or not. Can someone give me ballpark prices for an authentic one? Thanks.

I have two, one dollar silver certificates, both in very fine shape, very crisp. One is a 1935G series with a blue seal, with the # C93472007J above the seal & on the bottom left and the # L7949 on the bottom right, no stains or tears, with one slight crease. The second is a 1957A with a blue seal, the # C05321901A above the seal and on the bottom left and the # C632 on the bottom right, no tears, one small stain, and two creases. I would like to know if these are worth anything. Please email me at cdavis@ccrtc.com. Thanks.
