one good Jewish scholar of long ago , when asked by a prospective convert what was the essence of the Jewish religion or something to that effect answered that you simply have to follow a simple rule: IE not to do to others what you would not like to be done to yourself. Now another easy question how do you explain , in understandable terms , the practice of the Jewish religion and the various texts at the basis of it, with possibly a interrelation and links between the various texts and prayers?
