i have a philips cdrw (pcrw4012)...when i put a blank cd in it doesn't recognize it..i goto burn and it says not enough room on disk, when i know there is...when i click the properties of the disk it shows the pie graph for remaining space on disk as full with no free space remaining

try a different disc
i have a  Phillips cdr 775 and i HAVE to use digital audio 80 min discs, stupid but true!!

I have the same problem dre does with my philips cdrw800 series.  What's up with that.
