It is very difficult to answer this question. Before we ask this question, it is important the question "Is software testing conducted?" If it is decided by the Management to conduct software testing then the above question arises for which the answer is "Software testing has to be carried through out the life cycle of the Software that is from its inception to the retirement"

If the answer for the above question is YES then the answer for your question is as follows: "Software testing has to be carried through out the life cycle of the Software, that is- from its inception to the retirement"

Testing is a part of software life cycle. It is conducted through out the software life.

yes this is a very good question software testing is conducted before we realizing the product. if u conduct a software testing easily u can find out a problem means bugs. so easily u should known the bugs

It is general thinking that s/w testing is conducted after the coding of the s/w programs. but its wrong concept s/w testing started at the early state of SDLC. Along with requirement specification the testing get started as a test plan and it goes till the implementation or acceptance by user/client.

The Software Testing is conducted from the Business Process level to the end. At all the levels testing is done. Usually if the same question is asked in a general way you can answer as software testing is conducted from requirement phase.
