I have applied for a J1-visa, sponsored by an agency. The two year rule applies to me, according to both the sponsoring agency and information provided to me by the consul. Now, one of the vice-consuls has made a mistake: I have in my passport that the two year rule DOES NOT apply; this is also written in the paper stapled in my passport. Am I lucky now, or is this not an escape from the two year rule? Should I correct this, or should I just accept that humans make mistakes?
