My wife and I have a four year old yellow lab that we purchased as a puppy.  We had our first child 15 months ago and the jealousy was quit obvious from the start.  We did everything to help the situation.  Introducing Bailey to our son and making her feel that nothing had changed.  However, in the last few months she has started acting out.  You would think she is a puppy again.  She is chewing up everything and costing us 100's of dollars in damage.  She is doing all the damage when we are not present, usually late at night when we are sleeping.  It is difficult to discipline her being that we are not catching her in the act.  However she knows she is in trouble with us instantly.  What are your suggestions.  She is almost an adult dog and I would never have thought we would go through the puppy stage with her again.

You need to give your lab lots of attention, not just when the baby is asleep but perhaps while your son is in a playpen or highchair or even on the floor where your lab can see him and see that you are giving HER attention and not the baby. After a while she should see she is just as loved and see your new addition as someone else who can pet and play with her and not as a threat!

I agree with the previous answer.....when your son is around, give your dog lots of attention/praise. She will then associate your son with the positive attention and get will get more and more used to having him around.

We got a black lab last year that someone lost and put ad in paper no one claimed her. Now we know why.  Vet said she is about two years old. Won't stop chewing. Husband doesn't even want to hang xmas lites outside this year. She chewed up extension cords last year and lites. She has another dog for companionship. She is not alone. She runs free throughout the yard. We have an electric fence. Keep the dogs in the garage at nite.  She chewed plug three times off my van for a trailer. Someone said try vicks. I bought spray but can't spray everything. Help!
