hello sounds like an infection ill save you the money from the vet heres the answer i got from a vet when i took my cat a drop of warm salt water in the eye 2 times a day for 3-4 days it will clear up in no time just boil salt water in a pan and let it cool put it in a container warm it up luke warm as you would do for a babys skin and drop it in her eyes how to do this without getting scratched  or bit wrap her up not real tight but tight enough in a blanket flip her upside down and stick 1-2 drops in and let her loose do this in the morning and at night she wont like it but her eyes will clear up.

I have a calico cat and her eyes water alot also. They don't get the crusty stuff when they water but they do water alot. I also have another cat but he's not calico  and his eyes don't water at all so maybe this is a calico thing, interesting. Let me know if you have heard anything.

My calico's eye waters constantly -and it's on the right! I wonder if ours is from the same lineage LOL

My cat was just into the vet but she doesn't have an infection.  No particulates noted inside the eye either.  Interesting...

My calico's right eye is also doing the same thing but my cat is 19 years old. And i think she has a cold because she snezzes alot. She might just be sick or old. I know i would never try to put boiled salt water in my cats eye, (where did u get that from).
