...do the Harlem shake and the c-walk?

The c-walk is fairly difficult to learn if you want to mix it up (not just have one foot on your heels, and one on your toes, then switch). You gotta learn at some points to quickly hop with both you feet together and when it's time to cross you feet as well as do a split like motion (one leg is out far in front, heel on the floor, the other leg is far behind, and is on you toes). VERY important that you're almost always on your toes or your heels (never level footed) and try to do turns and 180's, as it looks better than if you're just facing one direction. Most importantly, mix it up, most videos I've seen are way too repetitive. Keep practicing it, make up your own routine, and you'll get good at it.

The heel toe is pretty hard but if you practice its pretty easy. Its kind of like a V. You start with your right foot in front on your heel..and your left foot on your toe. Practice trying to stand liek that for awhile. Then you move your right foot while its on its heek and twist it left. Twist your left foot while it is one its toes and twist it right. Then push off the ground mainly with your left foot and alternate putting your left foot up front and right in back. It is important to remeber that whatever foot is in front...it is always on its heel. Whatever foot is in back is on its toes. Last you gotta get a good song to do it to like wat da hook gon be . You can look at the Shake ya tailfeather video to get an example. On da part when diddy goes "Young janet jackson live in livin color..." look at teh background dancers...they r doin the heel toe. Aiight holla at your boys and have fun practicing.

Yo if u all wanna know how to do tha Heel toe thing if you've seen the "gangsta nation" video WC does it pretty well and easy for u to learn from tha video...thats how i learned he also does tha WC-Walk and its where your feet and knees are together and u kinda hop forward to your left then to your right and what not its crazzzy i love it..so ya i watched that video and taught my self kinda...a MAD song to learn how to CRIP walk to is "Cadillac pimpin" by youngbloods tha beat is perfect and i taught my self tha c-walk jus from tha beat of tha song. Also If you got WINMX or Kazaa you can download tonz of instuctional videos on there! Well pretty much not that hard but it takes a little practice to do a harlem shake or "walk". Well make sure your body is loose first you got to know how to move your shoulders well twitch your left arm then you wobble then you twitch your right arm just for a start you might feel funny but i learned from a bunch of friends in Ontario and know i live in SGV. And known in my High School as one of the best and then you just start doing it but i suggest you move your whole body as well cause if not you'll look like you have a seizure. Next thing you know your doing the harlem shake. When you get the hang of it start clown'nheel toe's and pin drops and your on your way. Take my advice as well make up your own stuff and trust me you'll look and do alot cleaner dont be a WC.

YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO DO THE HEAL TO DO THE CRIP WALK. ok first i will teach you how to do the heal to. ok, you start with you feet in a V or a or and upside down one. after that you have to figure out wich foot is the "dominate one". The dominate foot is the one that you use to do all of the pushing part. Im going to explain this one using the left foot and the dominate foot because thats how i learned. After you find the dominate foot you start in the upside down V and then you twist your left heal to the right and your left toes should go left. Then you kinda slide and twist your right heal to the right and your right toes to the right. Practice doing that for awhile till you get the hang.After you get the hang (your feet should be in the V postion then you twist your left heel to the left and your toes to the right your foot should look like / and then you twist and roll your right heel to the right and right toes to the right. Thas the whole routine ,you can make it as long or as short as you want you can also add a one footed heal toe to it but thats way hard to learn. Ok you guys are makin the C-walk too easy but its not hard Start with your feet 2 inches apart flat on the ground If you're right handed start with your right foot if ur left handed then ur left here we go slide your right footin front of your left foot with your right foots toes up and your left foots heel up dont forget to bend your knees your right foot should be heel down toe up going diagonaly right with your heel touching near your left foots big toe do that quickly in like a one second motion then put your feet normaly back togaether put your left foot in front and do the same reapeat that twice and the with your feet 2 inches apart hop 3 times forward but do it in zig zags... be sure to do turns and 180s quickly each step. act like your about to fall then go to your next step do this quickly tho you can mix it up and add in some dances too like the heel toe i dont have any idea how but ive seen my friends it looks good go to xzibitcentral.com and on the left side of the screen click C-walk video there you have it P.S. you can add in like a split leg motion you quickly put one leg in front of you and one in back then switch like in the video GOOD LUCK peace

Crip walk: First stand up straight and relax. It'll look funny if you're all tense. Now, spread your feet about 3 inches apart. If you are right handed, start with your right foot, if you are left handed start with your left foot. Okay first, you make a baby step hop on that certain foot. That foot should end up at a 45 degree angle and your toes should be up with your heel on the ground. Then you slightly bend your knees and put your foot down. Then you repeat that same pattern with your other foot. It sounds very confusing, but it's not. It just takes time and effort. Harlem Shake: First you have to know how to shimmy. If you don't know how to shimmy, it's when you sort of wiggle your shoulders back and fourth. Then for the Harlem shake put your shoulders up a little, and shimmy as hard and as fast as you can back and fourth over again. If you want to add a little flavor to it then shift your hips right and left and do a lil somethin somethin with your feet. I hope this helps! Oh, and by the way, I am half white, and half black, and just saying that either race is better and/or can dance better is just stupid. Do what you want and have fun!

Heel and Toe, here it goes: (this is how I do it, develop your style) 1. Stand with your right foot in front of left, straight in front. Right foot is on heel, toes up, and left foot behind is on toes, heel up. 2. At the same time your right and left feet twist to the right. 3. Jump, and twist left as you are in the air. 4. Land where you started, but with left foot in front, toes up, and right foot behind, toes down. 5. Twist both feet at the same time to the left. 6. Jump, switch feet, and land as you first started out. The simplest c-walk: (develop your own style to make it look good) 1. Stand with both feet together. 2. Jump and turn towards the right a little. 3. Land with right foot in front on heel and left foot in back on toes. 4. Jump and turn a little to the left and land how you started, both feet together. 5. Do the same with left foot in front as you turn a little to the left. Of course add some quick jumping to the left and right rapidly, harlem, wave, whtvr for style. Also, what is this whole white people black people thing? Why does it have to be a contest? If you do want it to be a contest, then you should know the Jews where the ones who started the ghetto, we were the first in the ghetto, the Spanish inquisition. And then again in the holocaust, which wasn't sooo long ago, but we had worse concentration camps, and even worse death camps. But you don't see very many Jewish kids in the hood or the ghetto anymore, why you ask? When the few holocaust survivors came to USA, they had nothing, but they didn't dwell on the past, they did as best they could to get ahead so their children wouldn't have to go through what they went through. And by the way, the Italians started the big, heavy, spinning jewelery.

ok u guys here it is if u wanna know how to do the crip walk listen up.ok 1st you should try it wit some socks on carpet because u can SLIDE better.start out with your feet side by side,lean on your left heel and slide your upper left foot right BUT KEEP YOUR HEEL ON THE GROUND, then put your upper left foot on the ground, soo this is the motion your left foot is doing starting here \| and going here / practice that a couple times to gett the hang of it.now you should have mastered the 1st part and now we r moving on to the next part.ok now u need to throw in a little twist..when u do the 1st step while you are doing it have your right foot about 2 or 3 inches in the air and make it hover next to your left foots motions.ok step #3 now you should b able to do everything i just talked about and there is another move so listen closley.when u have done the 1st steps U HAVE TO DO THEM IN ORDER except for the 1st 2 because they r at the same time as each other. at the end of steps 1and2 u need to transition into a new move BUT DON'T make the transition to sketchy or not smooth because it will ruin ur dance and make u look like a fag.ok now at the end of steps 1 and 2slide your leftyour left foot should look like dis / and your right foot should b hover beside it in the air.ok now u need to slide your left heel to the right BUT DO NOT MOVE YOUR TOES, now you left foot should look like this \.ok now that your left foot looks like this \ take your right foot and bring down its heel to the middle of the rihgt side of your left foot.....read that part again it may sound funny but do exactly as it says... so now your feet are making a unside down tilted "T".practice all those steps till you have them down.ok now the u r in the funny "T" postion take your rihg foot and slide it paralell of your left foot.now slide your right foots heel to the left and bring your left foot up into the air at the same time(about 4-5 inchs in the air) now your rihgt foot should b like this / and just keep your left foot in the air pointing forward, now like right after u slided your ringht heel and brought your foot up put your left fooot bk down next to your right foot,they should b heel touching or look like this \/ ok now rihgt after you have don that slide your right heel left and bring your left foot up again then place your left foot bk on the ground parrell to your other foot AND YOU DID IT :) now you should just keep doing these steps over and over and you have done the crip walk, but when you do hte moves try and move your dance around the room when you bring your feet up is an exelent time to postion into a new direction or wut ever u can repeat the steps over and over or throw in your own crap but if you need help on anything else E-MAIL ME -->Dono_bong@yahoo.com and i can teach you many other dances PEACE

Alright, first of all, the Jews were put into the ghetto, they ain't start it. An LA gang.. The Crip Walk was made as a 'victory dance' in whatever respect when the Crips killed someone, or someone was hurt. Yah dig? Now the Crip is a wide-spread footwork. To get the real walk, the best is to obviously go to a Crip member. You need to understand that you can't teach yourself the Crip walk and do it how the Crips do, understand? And as far as videos go online, too many posers, most suck at footwork. I'm not going to make a tutorial on how to Crip as I can do it, I can't describe it for you. The Shake you can find in one of the Jadakiss vids.. I can't remember off the top of my head. The heel-toe has been described well, so no need to cover that. Sorry that I didn't give a tutorial, but I gave you what you needed to know. Good luck

Okay To do the Heel Walk u gotta press Up, up, down, down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X. To do the Crisp toe u gotta push the magic brick in your pants in order to open the magical room of fantasy. Then you get the Penis Key on the counter that lies before you. After doing this, open the locked door on the other side of the room where the boss lies. To defeat him, move in a counter clockwise motion and do a 360 degree punch in the face CHARLY MURPHY style then he will release your friend. A friend that already knows how to do both. Once this is done, they will realize that you're a total asshole and finally teach you the real way so you'll never come back here for advice in which words can't describe alone how to do either of them. Hey yall whatsup. Well see the instructions everybody put on here were actually pretty good it's just a hard concept to understand. The best way to learn any kind of dancing is to see not to read. I've been breaking for like...forever lol. And only recently have I put the crip walk in my moves or anything. But I try not to becuase the crips did invent the crip walk and that's their thing. They should share it like everybody else does but for some reason they don't. But that's ok we do it anyway just not in front of em cuz we don't wanna be shot. Now another thing is really bothering me about this forum right here. I'm white. white as white can be. This whole black and white thing is really on my nerves i can tell you that. Dancing should bring people together. If you can do it then props to you. Just cuz ur a different color than someone else doesn't mean ur better. I mean come on I'm even the leader of my breakdance crew and am Captain of my dance team at school. Lets see if we can't use dancing to end this racial animosity we've had for so long. Just a thought yall im out peace. Be yourself and that's all there is to it.

how to do the c-walk: Ok start by taking your left foot and keeping it flat on the ground and then take your right foot and put the heel part about an inch away from the toes of your left foot. ( do that twice every once and a while) Then kind of hop your right foot back to flat but when you move it back to flat, put your left heel right by your right toes and then do that once or twice,(depending on the beat of the song) then continue doing thoes steps until you are done and then try to go faster each time you try it and the more you do it the better you will get at it. Don't go to fast because if you go to fast, its going to look stupid) Remember to bend your knees just a little bit.

umm this is how i kinda learned it... 1. (if ur right handed) right foot, toes down heels up, on the side of ur left foot...it should look sort of like a T but sideways, make sure ur right foot is facing to your right so this is what it looks like ^ > the arrow pointing up is left foot and arrow pointing right is right foot 2. move right foot forward a little and then put ur heel down and toes up at the same time den twist ur left foot facing right and kinda hop to the right ur feet should look like...[> /] (/ is right foot) (> is left foot) make sure ur bending ur knees when u do this and check if ur RIGHT foot TOE is UP and HEEL is DOWN. 3. den turn ur right foot straight forward and left foot TOE UP, HEEL DOWN like this [< ^] its just like the first step but oppiset feet den u do the same just switching foot everytime well this might not help but its what i got...oh well good luck

hey homies! ok do ya wanna do the 8-town-stomp the way usher does it well............ step 1: put ur right foot 2 the right with ur left foot behind it. step 2: lift ur right heel up (so that ur right toes r up in the air) step 3: stomp 3 times 2 the right. step 4: then do the same thing but have ur left foot on top and go 2 the left. step 5: keep repeating. do ya wanna do the "stay in place" 1,2 step well...........................(its really easy) step 1: put ur feet together. step 2: move ur knees up and down(when ur right knee is up ur left knee is down and vise versa) step 3: keep repeating. i told ya it was REALLY easy! do ya wanna do the harlem shake well..................... step 1: stand up straight and make a fist and keep the fist while ur puttin' ur arms straight down. step 2: SHAKE!!!! well i cant think of any more moves 2 let u know how 2 do them but if u let me know i c what i can do!

Yo, for everyone who wants to learn the cripwalk - if you live in NY, I can teach you how to crip walk many style in about an hour for $20. If you dont live in NY, I have a video (instructional) on how to do every C walk out there. Harlem Shake?????? NYC created it, very easy to do. Once again, if you live in NY, and you want to become an expert on both dances, in one hour, I will have cripping/shaking for a total of $ 40. I provide the music and we could do it anywhere. It's worth it, believe me. Ive trained close to 40 people in the last 2 months and there all experts right now. Just send me an email to blazenodoubt@yahoo.com, and we can setup an appointment. Also, if you need to learn some reggae moves, I also teach those as well. Last, but not least, I dont care if you are white, black, latino, indian, chinese, etcc... - we all one people!

Put your Left hand above your head in the air and put ur right slanted and all the way down so that your elbow meets your hips. 2. Rotate your wrists in a circle twice each at the same time 3. Then Switch Completley so your right hand is above your head and your left is below. 4. Then after this you start putting your leg out in front of you and bringing it up slowly and jus turn it back in fourth and then swtich to the other foot 5. when going to a club to dance sometimes it helps to drink a little, not to get drunk or even buzed much, but to get warm inside a little, anyways, way too many people are saying "the c-walk" its not the crip walk, people need to say i need to know how to do a crip walk, there are somany!!! like one is called the usher, i like that one but i also taught myself how to crip walk forward, just stay on your toes, just glide your feet around but moving forward, its looks good to others!!! i learned to dance without help, i was always the d.d. so i danced sober, just watch others for awhile, also, wear a collared shirt, pop up the collar then do what people like to call, heel to toe, open your mouth wide open but with a smile twist to it, then just move around the club floor, everyone can dance, some just have more confidence, if you can dance, you have confidence, not going to lie, i'm shallow, and sorta a big a-hole!!! but i dance with and get many beautiful girl's phone numbers, its all about confidence, after you get that, then you can learn to dance!! any questions emial me at richiemoe@aol.com

aight yall look. you shouldnt be doin the cwalk if your not a crip ne way. but since its become such a crazy dance in the clubs ima give u directions anyway. cwalk: first take a short hop to the left then another to the right and one back again to the left. your next hop to the rigt you should have your right toe pointed down and your right foot farther out than the left. next do the same thing a as before just opposite sides. you can see this done in you got served but you have to add your own flavor to it to make it hot. Harlem shake: in this move you are gonna want to keep your legs shoulder width apart. hold your hands out slightly like you are holding a basketball about 6 inches from ur nuts. then pop your elbows real fast from side to side and rotate your chest in a circular motion. this will give the cool waving effect in your shirt. also to give your arms a break pop your shoulders and freeze it every once in a while. watch some gdep videos for more info

Well, the C-walk (Crip Walk) is a little hard if you are not used to moving like that, but once you practice the basic moves, then you can work on your style and thats what makes it cool. The first step is feet together, then left foot toe, right foot forward to heel..its basically all heel toe type of stuff. Anyway, when you do this you do the first move twice, then a quick step (hop) with both feet together left, right, left, then the heel-toe step again..repeat the hop step again to a heel toe, but on this one, when you finish the second one, you push off the right foot and pull the left foot across with a sweeping motion (really cool) and turn 90 degrees for your first turn. Do the heel toe thing, triple hop, left, right, left move, then a quick 90 degree turn as described previously, to another, 90 degree turn to finish where you started. then pull both feet back on your heels, push of your left foot and sweep your right foot across to the right, repeat the heel toe move and the triple hop, left right left again....and again...thats it, but you should mix it up or create your own style to it, the more you bend your knees and sweep your legs the cooler it looks...

First you must begin with a signature stance, something that says,"Watch Out FOOL! Then stick your right foot out... The stick your left foot out... Then you shake it all about. After that, take a quick little breather. But keep looking cool. Then quickly start again, by sticking your left foot out. Simple The How to Crip Walk Steps 1. Stand with both feet together. 2. Jump and turn towards the right a little. 3. Land with right foot in front on heel and left foot in back on toes. 4. Jump and turn a little to the left and land how you started, both feet together. 5. Do the same with left foot in front as you turn a little to the left. In English / The Explanation First stand up straight and relax. It'll look funny if you're all tense. Now, spread your feet about 3 inches apart. If you are right handed, start with your right foot, if you are left handed start with your left foot. Okay first, you make a baby step hop on that certain foot. That foot should end up at a 45 degree angle and your toes should be up with your heel on the ground. Then you slightly bend your knees and put your foot down. Then you repeat that same pattern with your other foot. It sounds very confusing, but it's not. It just takes time and effort. Tip: Of course you can add some quick jumping to the left and right rapidly, harlem, wave, whatever for style. But for the basic concept of crip walk, the above explains it pretty well. takes a long time to learn..jus use your time

Cwalk - u need to learn the basics first 1) V's - u put feet at 45 degree position to each other and pivot on one foot's toe and move it 90 so ur now parallel with the other foot. THen pivot the other foot's HEEL and move it 90 degrees in the same direction so youre now at a 45 degree position with ur toes near to each other and heels farther apart. keep doing this 2) shuffle - jump back and forth lightly while being light on ur toes. U can incoporate the shuffle kick (basically pause mid shuffle slightly while planting one foot back and the other one on its heel straitgh up and out then pull it back) and transtion into either heel toe or V's smoothly U can also do shuffle spins 3) heel toe feet start like / / then put one foot foward and ull be like / / pivot on front heel placing 70% of ur weight foward and slide ur back foot on ur toes and middle foot so ur like \ \ pick up the front foot quickly and place it back and kick out ur back foot to the front like \ \ then do the same thing as before, just reversed to go to the opposite direction FOR MORE INSTRUCTION, SEE THE MASTER Youtube.com -> search -> Kyren (Ky3rn) PEace

listen.. heel to toe.. 1.start with feet together 2.put right foot right in front of left foot with the right foot on its heel with its toes up and the left foot on its toes with is heel up 3.move both feet to the right so they end up at a 45 degree angle 4.once you twist to the right take a small jump and put your left foot in front of your right foot with the left foot's heel on the ground n its toes up and the right foot on its toes with its heel up..(just like you started but switch the feet) 5.twist your feet to the left and then repeat the steps... switch it up to give it your own flava like with more steps or with the harlem shake... now for the c-walk.. 1. start with your feet together 2. take a small jump and land with your right foot in front of your left with the right foot's heel on the ground and its toes in the air and your left foot behind with its toes on the ground and its heel in the air..(just like the first step to the heel toe)your gonna look like your kicking something right beside your foot when you turn your feet.. do this motion fast 3.next jump to your left..with your left foot on its heel in front of you right foot which is on its toes..continue these motions and you'll have it..try to do it to a beat of a song it will help... when you jump go right, right, left, right, left left, right, left and so on

iight listen if u wanna do the crip walk start of doin it like an amatuer Amatuer: to learn just 1: put ur feet side to side 2gether like ur saluting 2: then jus push off wit ur left (or right) foot and land on ur front foots heel (jus don smash it) 3: then reapet step 2 with ur new footing Pro: to do it professionaly 1: when ur about to hop over bend ur knees 2: make sure ur legs end up in a diagnol line 3:make sure when u hop the back foot is always on ur toes and front is always on heel 4: mix it up after a while by either connecting ur knees and hopping to the side kinda like Ice Cube, or u can go left, left, right, left,right,right etc. (meaning change up da hops other then left to right to left to right) or u can jus spin wit it and go into another move that u may kno hope this helped and wasn't 2 confusing iight peace

The c-walk is hard but if you do it alot ull get used to it. if you want to walk like crips then you start with basics slowly. first you need to learn the V. its prety simple: make your foot to a v( take ur right and left heel together) and stay: after pick your right toes up and move em to the right after take ur left heal and move it to the right keep switching until 4 rotations, after go the other way. the combination for the V is the step back. make ur foot into a V(left toes against the right toes)and move ur right foot to the right and after take ur left foot back. after jump back to the V. Thats the v step back combination. now.. all of you have mostly been asking for the heel toe. its easy but ur gonna have to have shoes. start which ever way you want but in this case take ur left foot out and wicth to the right rotate ur back foot to the right and keep going. theres alot more basics but if you want to know more go to youtube and type in samir tutoriul.. or( this mite sound wierd)blood-walk tutorial and scroll down not to the bottom just scroll and look for samir tutorial its on the first page:)

It's kinda hard to explain the c-walk but i'll try. You put your right foot out n sit ur heal on the floor, then pull ur left foot too it(bend ur knees too), make sure you leave the right foot down, then do the same to the left. Just kinda do it slow once you get used to it, you'll move a lil quicker n get a lil pep in your step.

THE C-WALK IS SIMPLE, stand on right foot toes beside your left heel, hop to left, and your feet should be in a 45o angle on foot after the other to the right, then repeat, opposite way on the left, and continue, make sure your right jump is smaller than your left.

I think its really one of those, you learn on ur own kind of things. But, lets say u're right handed, then start with ur right foot, down on ur toes and then switch to ur left heal, basically a heal-toe heal-toe deal, really hard to explain. Just ask a friend to teach u, or go to like Kazaa and type in "Crip Walk". As for the Harlem Shake, all it is popping ur shoulders to the beat, kinda like 1&2&3&4&1&2&3&4...

the moonwalk is to simple not to know. you start with feet together then put one heel up and slide the oppiset foot which is flat( not the one that has the heel up). the put the other heel up and put the other heel down and do the same

Look I don't know that much bout the harlemshake or the c-wlk, but I can do the heel-toe & the in-toe. You do the same thing as crip, but you turn your toe to the outside, then push off the ground& switch feet...If you want to do the in-toe, you just turn your toe out & switch, it's that simple!

listen: make up your own stuff. the c walk is basically hopping left and sliding right, stay on your heel or toes, move from right to left, make sure your left step is always bigger. hop foward with your toes to the left, repeat the stuff above with only 1 foot on the ground, keep on your toes. make sure your left is always longer than your right. then move foward again, and speed it up to only a small slide for both and be sure to tap the in air foot on the ground. and thats where i just go back to the beginning.
