I have plans for the Forester of San Francisco.  This is a 4 masted schooner. She was built in 1900 by Hay & Wright in Alameda CA. Her owner and Captain was Otto Daeweritz who was the only Captain the Forester had.  He died aboard the Forester in 1947 at age 83.  She was designed for the lumber trade.

I also have a copy of the SEA LETTER - published by the San Francisco Maritime Museum.  The have may of the fitting of the
ship in the Maritime Museum by Hyde Street.

The Forester was in the mud in Alameda for may years until she was set on fire by vandals and she was burned to the waterline in the 1970's

If you are not able to get a copy of the SEA LETTER. I will make copy's of the pages and send them to you, or if I can scan them, I will email it to you. the pictures are in black and white but does give the impression that the forester was Black Hulled with White rails and Deck houses.

The plans I have are from the old Model Shipways model.
