Can there be two different things on a death certificate besides sids?

Yes, Death Certificates can have a secondary cause of death.  For example, in cases of co-sleeping (also called bedsharing) the secondary cause might read "suffocation unknown intent."  This demonstrates that suffocation could not be ruled out based on the cosleeping.
