My fiance and I were just denied the K1 visa, and we can't reapply for a visa for three years.  We were denied it, because he used drugs in his past, but hasn't used them for three years.  I can write a letter of hardship, but I am wondering what needs to be included into this letter?

Melissa, I think you may need to apply for a waiver or something like that. Talk to an immigration attorney or visit www.myfianceevisa.com to see if they can help you. Good luck

My fiance and I applied for a visa over a year ago.  They then took 9 months before they bothered to tell us we were missing a form and that they hadn't done any work on the case, and we only got that response when we went to a congressman.  It is now over 150 days since then and we've heard nothing.  Any advice what we can do next?

blueboy - If you can afford an attorny, get one.  There are lawyers out there who specialize in this field.  My attorny is HOLMES & LOLLY.  Take a look at thier website.  http://www.fianceevisas.com/  Will save you a lot of heartache.

You must get the K1 fiance visa step-by-step guide at www.k1fiance.com.

It walked me through every stage and gave me great resources to security clearances...

Good luck to you all.
