NORTON ALLOWS THE TROJAN OR THE VIRUS TO LOAD OR OPEN THEN IT TRIES TO DEAL WITH IT.. MOST OF THE TIME YOUR DONE AT THAT POINT....

A GOOD VIRUS PROGRAM WILL NOT EVEN LET YOU DOWNLOAD OR CLICK ON ANY INFECTED FILE...

Look up housecall.com where the anti-virus program is, or maybe just antivirus programs. Housecall is there. They will run a free scan for you. It will also get rid of the virus or worm for you. No charge. PC pitstop can also run a free scan and let you know how well your computer is doing.  Roadrunner has a great system and has free adware and firewall which works great. You can also get BLACK ICE, another wonderful firewall product worth it's weight in gold. You see, I used to have Norton as well, but gave it up because it only told me what was wrong, but did not FIX the problems.
