is it ok to keep two puppies in the same crate while I am away for a awhile? How big should the crate be if the breed is miniature pinschers and i have two of them?

Well, in general, yes it's ok to put two pups in the same crate. The general rule is that they should have enough room to lie down, stand up and turn around comfortably.
However, keeping two pups together could(doesn't always happen) turn into some dominance and behavioral problems.

I think it should be ok to put them both in the same crate while you are away... I've seen several dogs from the same little kept in the same crate at the pet store.  It seemed nice for them to be able to cuddle.  
To wow:  If you've never heard of crate training dogs, google it before you put a crazy answer like you did.  It is a very normal and humane way of house training puppies.  They like to have a space that is their own -- like a cave.
