i have been in the USA for 2 months on a L2 visa. i have applied for my own work permit but it will take months, they are only now processing Feb 07 . problem is i only have one more month to drive on my international license-have been told by insurance company that they can only insure me for 3 months without a VA license. my question is this, can i take my driving test in VA without a social security number? as i cant apply for one until i have my work permit.
