Yes, it is common for JRTs to fight within their own litters.  Mine nearly killed each other a couple of times.  It's the nature of the breed.  If you haven't had them spayed/neutered you should.  Otherwise, keep them apart when you aren't around and watch them close when you are there.  THESE DOGS WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH!!!  Please, to everyone who reads this, do not take the squabbles lightly.  You may have to give up some of the dogs.  I saw my own dog eviscerated in front of my eyes and another one was bitten to the point of bleeding to death before I got home because the crate was too close, and they got ahold of each other.  It is gruesome and a sight that I will never forget.  Knowledge is the best defense.  Know your breed before you bring other dogs into the equation.  JRT'sfight, fight, fight.  I wish you luck, but you may have no other choice than to give some away.  Sometimes one male and one female can coexist, but not always.  More than that is asking for trouble.
