Ari, block quote format is indented (generally a 5-space tab from both right and left margins) and offset from the rest of the manuscript or narrative copy, such as,

     All paid jobs absorb and degrade
     the mind.     --Aristotle

That is wrong. Block quote format for MLA papers is a 10-space indent from the left margin, with the text appearing exactly as it does in the novel, poem, or whatever else you have chosen your material from. No quotes are used, and the citation appears after the last punctuation mark. It is only used if there are 36 or more words in prose, and 4 or more lines in poetry.
