Now I have read lot of stuff about huskies, but I haven't seen any answer on the age they may reach. I know it's not possible to define in general, but an average would be fine.

my male husky is almost 9 and he acts like a puppy still i see him having another good 5-7 years on him.

It's been a while since I've seen anything about age, but what I recall is around 11-14 years, on average.  Huskies are not like most larger dogs in that they have a tendency to live much longer.

I know of huskys in our club that live to the age of 16

I have a male Husky that is 12 years old.  He is still in great health and people still seem to think that he is young.  He just tends to wear out a little quicker than he did when he was younger.  I have heard that the average age can be up to 14 years old.
