Hello, I have a 1968, early model, VW Bug. She's amazing in all ways but has one strange habit. She stalls out, 2 or 3 times a trip ( if the drive is over a half hour), while coming to a stop. She starts back up immediately. I've had fuels lines checked, carb rebuilt, the elecrical looked at ( but, quite frankly, it's a &%#! mess from whoever worked on it in the past ), fuel pump is good and she seems to idle great except for those moments. I use 93 octane in her and get her serviced every 2000 miles or at need. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
