I have a 120lb neutered male Golden that is about 7 years old. We are interested in getting a golden pup to keep him company during the day. We were thinking about getting a female, but I'm not sure how they will get along. Anyone have suggestions??

Im sure they will get along just fine! Our family had a 7 year old female and we got another puppy (male). they adore each other. Then a couple years later we got another dog, and although he caused a little rucus do to his temperment they all get along. We fixed our first two dogs and didnt fix the 3rd dog hoping to breed. we JUST got a 4th dog (female) who fit in perfect and we are hoping to breed in the next few years. Good luck, if things dont work out, you can always put an ad out and resell the puppy before she gets too comfortable in your home. I do hope things dont come to that! Good Luck
