I have a 99 Dodge Durango and I think that the steering shaft joints are bad. Every time I turn it makes a popping sound, the steering wheel shakes and it is turned slightly at an angle. How do you test to see if the shaft is bad? I have heard that you grab the shaft and turn it. Mine turns about 1/2in to both sides is this normal and if not how hard is it to change and what are the step by step directions? Thank you
