acne rosacea is a skin desease which causes the face to appear red as though blushing although the feeling of embarisement is not present. It is an overproduction of fat by the subaceaous glands. The condition is inherited through a family, but not all members have it. The embarisment lies in the sugestion by others that the victim has had too much sun, drunk too much or is embarassed. The correct response is not to let it pass but rather to explain the condition to the observer.
