Is it a greeting custom during the time of the establishment of the New Testament church in Israel that married couples were addressed with the wife's name first then her husband's name?

I don't know, but in Portugal family name is mother's one (real fact). Most pre-patiarchal societies follow motherly lines (father is rather non-important).
