If I go past an 8g, will it go back to a normal size if I choose to gauge it down? I've been told yes, but my dad wants proof from another person that it will. If you don't know, do you know where I could find out?

Most piercings 2g and smaller will shrink back down to a normal size in time if you choose to remove the jewelry. It really depends on the person, but I know a few people who have [or rather had] their ears stretched to 00g and their ears have shrank back down to standard size in a matter of weeks. My brother has his ears stretched to 7/16 and his begin to shrink within hours of having his tunnels taken out of his ears. Really, it depends on the person, but more often that not, as I've stated, most piercings 2g and smaller will shrink or even close up completely.

I had my ears at 000 and im trying to get my ears back to normal. They have shrink back down to 0, maybe a little less then 0 but they dont seem to be going any further. Is there anything you can do to help get them back down to size? even like cuting the skin to bleed so it heals or somethin? im desperate to get my ears back. email me at rupchurc@college.dtcc.edu
