I have a 1998 Chrysler LHS with Transmission failure, Mechanic states its a transmission bearing.  The front driver CV joint comes right out of the transmission.  Is it replaceable can I do it under $1200.00, and is there a diagram that I can look at just to see.  There is nothing that I can find on the net.  Please Help
