I have a 97 Golf with a 2.0 four cyl. I recently had trouble with an oil leak out the top of the oil cooler which I fixed via a new rubber washer. Once I fixed the oil leak I replaced the oil with 10w30 and I did accidentally over fill it by 1/2 a quart. Anyway, now after I have been driving for a bit and I slow down and my RPMs drop like at a light or when existing the freeway my oil light blinks. Is my problem related to too much oil or is it more serious than that?
