I have a 99 Chevrolet van 3500, 5.7 we just changed the motor for a used with 43,000 miles my motor just reach 1 million. The power steering pump on the new one has a pressure switch on top of it and the old one doesn't. Don't that mean it's the wrong motor. When he tried to start it,it wouldn't start.Even if he changes the fuel injectors and it's the wrong motor other problems will arise, such as it may be the wrong computer or brain. In other words it may fit in but not be compatible. How can I fine out which Chevrolet 99 has a pressure switch on top of the power steering pump, because the junk yard swears it come out of one like mine.
