How often do female Shiba Inus go into heat and how many puppies do they usually have to a litter?

yearly . 4or 6 puppies

They go into heat at least 2 times a year. If you have two females in the house they should be separated during heating months for they might fight to see who can mate and have a litter. As for the puppies, they can have anywhere from 4 to 6 puppies, more or less also depending on size.

wolf dogs go into heat only once a year!!!!
