My mother (Croatian) has been proposed by USA citizen living in California, both ages over 65, and he wants her to cam to live in California. Can she have any income like pension and if not immediately, when she can get it and how much (minimum or some percentage of husband's pension or any income at all?) and does she get anything if he dies first considering that all his properties are already left to his children? He wants them to sign premarital agreement so that she can get some money if he dies suddenly, but I’m worried about her (she doesn’t speak English, I live in Canada). What rights can she have? He is quite ill and he needs her to take care of him. How can she be assured? Have you any suggestion and advice?
