I have a 95 Chrylser Cirrus and I have put about 1500 dollars into it in the last month and a half,  it'll lose all "power" as in you can put the gas pedal to the floor and you will go no where,  if you pump it to go it will go for a second then make a loud clunk in the front end and dies again,  the car never stalls during any of this,  and if I turn the car off and turn it back on it's fine until I get maybe another 2-4 miles down the road.  The RPMS and off when I first start it up as well or when I stop or park it,  they rev up to between 1 or 2 and hold there when I first start it up and when I park it they fluctuate between 1 and 2 but go up and down.  They have replaced the EGR valve,  Transmission Module,  Fuel Pump,  and Oxygen Sensors,  and also the Throttle Position Sensor........DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAUSES THIS???? PLEASE HELP

First, Does your car have a car alarm? If not sure talk to a car alarm installer. Second, Find out if the mechanic performed a "computer check" using a computer scan tool.
What happened to me was I found out that I had a manufacture car alarm, which caused the engine to shut off. Also, because there were problems with the catalic converter it caused a some kind of over heating problem in which the plastic coating on the "computer" melted and dripped into the engine some how which blocked the fuel from entering the engine. My car runs fine now that catalic converter was replaced.

It is your battery. My wife had the exact same problem one of her battery cells was dead to it would hold the charge. That cost me 100$ and I have not had any more problems. That was 1 year ago.

Try and see if an update for the TCM is available for your vehicle. they put out a TSB on The TCM. Some TCMs need the update to fix problems they are having. Your local dealer charges about 75-100 Dollars for it. if that is not the case try getting a tech to run it on the dyno and watch what all the sensors are doing when the problem occurs. that is probably the best advice for you. lots of luck.
