Hello- I hail from Michigan, USA (About a half hour from detroit- Good herb in the area). I'd like to just add my 2 cents into this forum... I have an interview today for Wal-mart, great establisment LoL! and I stopped smoking exactly 7 days from today; I started drinking 3 bottles of water per day about 3 days after I quit. I picked up a home drug test kit from local pharmacy about an hour ago (O.k I stole it who wants to pay 30$ for the poS) and I tested Negative for THC. I couldn't believe this was possible. But if you're similar to me it is. I'm 140 lbs/5'7" and I have a small frame and one hell of a metabolism, because I don't gain weight too easily. So this is some re-assurance for the people out there that are like me that stress over this kind of thing, it can be done. Of course, Home Drugs Tests are not as precise as a big corporations, but i disagree with the statement saying, "It takes 30-60 days" or what have you. Thanks

General Rules of Thumb 1.Abstinence is always best if you know a test is coming. 2.Never give the first urine of the day. Its the most concentrated due to overnight storage in your bladder. 3. Definitely drink lots of fluids, drink until you pass clear urine not matter what product you take or if your going to test without any chemical/ herbal assistance. 4. Substitution of urine with someone you know is clean is the best way if your not sure what to do. Beware of the temperature of the urine. Most testing facilities slap a sticker thermometer on the cup after you hand it to them. 96 degree's is about the range they are looking for so stash your sample under your arm pit or groin area. Be smart slap a temp sticker on your sample stash to be sure. Those are your hottest areas of your body and easiest to conceal your sample. 5. Beware of Online companies making promises. They want to sell you a product more than they want to help you. Some of these products work, just be careful who you buy them from. Look for detailed medical information on THC or other drugs and their body fat shelf life at the site. Personally I stay away from sites with Big Pot Leafs on them and few details. 6. Body Fat, activity level, duration and amount of use all are contributing factors to how long before you are clean. Fat boys take longer to clean up than skinny folks. I'm a RN, ex military so I'm accustomed to urine testing. Hope this helps guys.

I'm a U.S. citizen, but this should apply to all free people. Privacy!!! Its none of your business what I smoke. Everyone should begin acting out against the invasions by our government and our employers. It does not matter if you are guilty or not. When RadioShack ask you for your zip code when you by batteries for your Walkman kindly refuse. Some day, god forbid, citizens of this nation might have to defend it against a tyrannical government. Our actions today, by allowing the slow decay of freedoms to occur, can completely handcuff generations in the future to protect and defend themselves. When you leave a store after purchasing goods verbal reject or at least appeal the researching of your bags. Have you not already paid for them? Therefore are they not private property belonging to you? Stores sometimes suggest "if you where to drop your milk in the parking lot we would replace it for free" implying that the property is not actually yours until you leave the premises. Thanks you for your concern and I would gladly come back and do all my business with you for replacing my errant dropped milk, but don't chip away at my rights!!! I think the last time I chopped down a tree, I chipped away at it with an axe until it was just to weak to support itself. As you can imagine with each swing of the axe I cut out a small piece of wood that was irreplaceable. NOTICE THE SMALL CHIPS THAT ARE BEING CUT OUT OF OR RIGHTS. Soon with the help of technology every fact about everything can be recorded and stored and then analyzed over unheard of time frames. you guys are all retards... listen thc stores in your body fat.. making fluids impossible to access it.. drinking water does nothing... its all on your metabolism and how much you way and all that.. all you fat ass potheads.. haha.. good luck passing the test... but a good way to get it out of your system is to sit in a sauna till your just dripping in sweat.. then swim to wash all the sweat out of it.. if you cant get to a sauna.. go to a rec center... or somewhere where you can just run and work out.... anything that makes you sweat is good.. the only thing that waters gonna help you with is sweat... so drink tons of water... work out/ sit in the sauna... then swim to get it all off you and out of you your welcome

I'm not a prof. but i have 20 yrs. exp. my Waite is 170 lbs with lots of fluids i can be cleen in two weeks hope this helps

Nor am I a scientist, but it is usually thought with plenty of fluids and total abstinence, 11 days most usually takes care of it.

It is possible for tests to detect THC up to 30 days after last usage, depending on many factors.

THC can now be detected in hair shafts and remains in those shafts permanently. If you shave bald and smoke afterwards, THC will be detectable in your hair even if it grows to reach your ankles. Sorry about the bad news.

14-30 days depending on your metabolism. THC stores in your body fat so try burning some.

I basically agree with everyone else on this sight because I spent 4 years in the US Army and got tested every two months and I passed all of them just by chugging tons of water but I am a very skinny guy with a high metabolism.

Here is some more good news: If they were to test everyones hair, NOBODY would pass the test and that is why they don't do it. Just drink fluids and you will be fine if you have a high metabolism.

man, i got a urine drug test later today, i blazed up about 20 days ago, im prety chubby, 180pds, 5'7", horrible motabalism, and i havent been drinkin alot of fluids for the past 20 days cause i had no idea about this drug test untill today, how screwed am i?

Hey... im 16 yrs old... i just left school.. found out that i got a drug test coming up about 2 august for an apprentice i was accepted...i had about 6 drags on a spliff (cannabis) last night(17th july)... i got high motablism... bout 100lbs...can i pass this? thanks! adam.

I am 25, 90lbs (very skinny), and a daily smoker. I haven't smoked anything since July 23rd. I've been drinking about 5 (24oz) bottles of water a day, cranberry juice (1 gallon), and green tea (3 cups). I have lost 5lbs, and am now at 85lbs. I have a drug screen coming up in the next week or two. What are my chances of passing?

I willl say that diluting it with water didn't work for me...I drink water all the time for a bout aweek then on the morning of drink 1/2 to 3/4 gallon...peed when I woke up...peed when I got to the facility almost straight clear and almost wet myself trying to hold al the water..then failed....sux...mybrother claims he passed for a year though on only water...even smoking on the way to the place for the test and passing. i'ma skinny dude and in my life i'vesmoked a lot of weed, everytime I've had to take a drug test I've smoked at up to and eighth between 24 hours and a couple days and each time i have passed without drinking a lot of fluids. this includes the pee test i took the day i got back from being awol from the military when i smoked and eighth the night before.

I HAD A FEW PUFFS, FOR 3 DAYS IN A ROW, LAST WEEK AND HAVE TO GO FOR A DRUG TEST FOR A NEW JOB IN A FEW DAYS. It will be 10 days since I HAD ANYTHING TO SMOKE, AND I AM VERY CONCERNED. I SMOKE VERY RARELY..

Hello. What if this person has been smoking almost daily for the last few months... how long would it take for the THC to not show up in urine tests? [He's applying for a Canadian visa, if it helps] He's a little fat...don't know about the metabolism. Thanks

Im on probation and i havent smoked in years but i want to or might have already and im curious if i should just drink tons of water or pickle juice or cranberry juice or lots of all, or buy a detox drink and which ones work the best and/or cannot be detected by labs. I have kids so this is an important bunch of questions. Im 200lbs.& 5'7''.

thanks again cold stoney i think u described some real facts about clearing the thc from urine well as to cold stoney i agree with him also living up his normal life i think drinking like 2 litres of water and flushing all that golden water will extract the thc anyway to all the people who are just thinking about the test just stop thinking and drink lots of water everything will dissapear. thanks

i just took a drug test an hour ago.. i smoked augest 25th (tday is september 13th)and got so stoned.. i drank water allll day today, and my urine was clear, but i also got a blood test. im 135lb and have a high matabolism. what are my chances?

if you are low in body fat and smoke 1 to 2 times a week. 7 to 10 days. high body fat, give yourself 2 to 3 weeks. daily smoker low fat, 3 weeks. daily and high fat, 4 to 6 weeks. remember everybody is different and just make sure you give yourself enough time and fluids. this is kip. peace out.

I am a 35 year old man I weigh 185 lbs and am 5' 8" tall. I quit smoking for 30 days and drank alot of water.I was sure that I would pass the test. I failed.This was a great job. I don't understand why but I think abstainning is the only way. I am giving it 2 mos. now and I will retry.

Okie well mi last drug test i passed and i had smoked 2 weeks before but i smoked on dec. 30 and have a drug test on january 12th. I weigh about 115 pounds and i'm5 5" so should i be clean?

THC varies for different people. I know that exercising, drinking at the minimum of 1 gallon of water a day and taking supplements such as goldenseal can really speed up the process but this is the program i used to help get cleaned for the marines and it worked. You can by goldenseal at wal mart its like 4 dollars and it doesnt matter wat kind. But this program can help anyone get clean in no sooner or later than 30 DAYS. And if your body fat percentage is over 30% try to eat healthy AND WHATEVER YOU DO DONT LISTEN TO THE DUMBASS THAT SAID DRINK BLEACH IT WILL EAT YOUR INSIDES AWAY!!!
