I have a 99' Chevy S10 Pickup. It has a 2.2 liter 4 with a manual transmission. I'm having a problem with my temperature gauge. It seems to be functioning properly when the truck is running below 3,000 Rpm, But as soon as I get up to around 3,500 to 4,000 Rpm the needle on my gauge becomes erratic and pegs out. As soon as I let off of the gas it returns back to normal operating temperature immediately. I think it may be the gauge, sending unit, or wires. Also, I just had the cooling system flushed about 4,000 miles ago. Before then there was no problem with it. Any information would help me out alot.

Thanks , Mike
