What can I do to have Crysler help me pay for my transmission in my 1997 Dodge Caravan. It went out just after I purchased it after 29.000 miles in it. Crysler did pay for it then, but now after about 36.00 miles later, my transmission went out again and now they put a new transmission in and of course I had to pay for it.Now they give me 36.000 miles waranty on this one, but the one they paid for I only got a year waranty. Is that fair. Please help me get justice.

In April 2002 (its Feb 2004), just 1 year 10 months ago, we purchased a used 1997 dodge grand caravan, it had transmission problems so dodge paid for a rebuilt transmission and gave a 3 year 36000 mile warranty.  We are at 38,000 miles and it is out again.  Only 1 year and 10 months later.  The service technicians couldn't believe that two other mechanics said the transmission was out and told us to bring it in and pay thier 90.00 fee.  They said they had more up to date technology and yet, they came back that it is a transmission problem.  The manager said that it is out of warranty by 2000 miles and will not do anything.  But we shall see.  Apparantly, from what i have found on the internet, dodge caravans have problems with their transmission.

I need to ask Chrysler to pay for a rebuilt engine on my 2000 Town & Country, considering my warranty just expired and the engine blew last week.  I am quite upset with the situation.  Thanks.

I have 100,007 miles on a 1996- Plymouth Voyager that I've been driving for a year now. The trouble that I am having with the car now is when it got hot( I guess the oil because the engine oil sign puped up regularely) then the power is lost. Five minutes later, I can start the car, and drive like 100m and it will cut off again. I can repeat the same process to drive like on 30miles.I've seen three mechanics, none of them satisfied me. How can you help?

these vans and cars yor are talking about seem to be several years old as for the trans problems the dealer only will fix what is broken undr waranty and that is only coverd for 12-12 and if the transmission was replaced maybe it onlt needed some repair and the personwho said it neede replaced only knows how to replace and not diag and  repair the problem it seems that a lot of people whant to say its the dealers fault when it could be from the person not performing maitance when neede and the people who try and repair them when it has a problem not knowing what they are doing no training ex.

I own a 1999 Chrysler 300m with a 3.5 engine has eighty five thousand miles on it. All of a sudden there is oil in the coolant reservoir. I brought it in and there is a problem ether head gaskets or warped heads or they could be cracked or may be the engine block may be cracked. After talking to many different mechanics there seems to be a problem with these motors and heads. what can a person do to get Chrysler to admit the problem.

I have owned multiple Grand Voyagers and Grand Caravan's and most of the time the transmission gives out between 77K and 90K. Crysler does nothing to help their customers. They only have a 7 yeear 70K warrenty as they know their product give out after the 70K. Trust me I'm a owner of 4 past vans and one current one that all gave out at 70K +. This expecially happens on those with out over drive.
