I am Rahul Agarwal(pursuing B.Tech final year) I and my group are makeing a project which is about Railway My project is about to know about the breakage in the railway tracks.So i am trying to make a hardware then make it compatible with my computer. My Question is how can i make it compatible? Another project is Like i can listen music,see movie, on computer. I want to make a software by that i can listen radio(Wihtout having internet conection). so plz help me in this.

I think this will help you. Give the whole track a semiconductor coting like Ge etc.put it in negative logic ie 0 if on and 1 if off.this will save electricity.Now connect the main electric wire with any electric circuit to detect if there is any breakage.if yes the coting will break up and you will be notified.
