although it says that i can not ask a question and have the answer go to my email..but; please could someone do it anyway
i have a situation that i dont know what to do
my 6 month old is in heat right now..but about 10 days ago she began to gnaw the hair off the front of her hind legs.has anyone had this problem before. i know they are nervous dogs ..but this is too much..im concerned now and my vet is out of town on vacation..what's the deal??

I have not seen that particular behavior.  Your vet may be out of town but s/he should have coverage by an emergency vet during that time.  If not, go to another vet, this isn't something you should wait on.

Unless a dog is part of a responsible breeding program, I strongly suggest that they be spayed/neutered, especially if they are female.  Even experienced breeders lose litters and dams, most chihuahua females are much too delicate to be bred.  The vet bills and small litter size make this a negative money maker, you will spend much more in proper care than you would by breeding her and selling the puppies.
