Should I cut my outdoor cat's nails?

no, they need them to be sharp to defend themselves and to climb.  cats take care of their own claws as they do with thier own coat grooming.

Cut and "trim" are two different things here...personally I would recommend trimming your cats claws every now and then if they like scratching your kids or climbing furniture.

Trim your cats nails but don't cut past the white-ish area...cause that would be painfull
