i have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with a 360 cu in 4 speed...

i have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with a 360 cu in 4 speed automatic transmission . the problem i have is when it is cold it sticks in 2nd gear and i have to let off the throttle to get it to  shift in to 3rd gear after it is warmed up it is OK??????????????
