My son had his license suspended in Georgia recently for 1year.  He is now moving to CA to live with me.  Can he apply for a license in CA, or does he have to wait a year to apply.

I think that California will check with Georgia for suspended licenses. The states have agreements to check with each other before issuing licenses.
