I have been looking for A word processor that's discontinued. It is a Panasonic 1500w I believe that could print and store to a floppy disk. It could mail merge and many other things. It had a screen on its front that was maybe 9in. diagonal or more.I have looked all over can you locate one? Herb

i have a panasonic word processor. multi function, can act as typewriter, wordprocessor. able to do all common word processing functions including mail merge, labelling, etc. 3.5" floppy drive as well. Model W940. Only problem is small screen. approx 3" long, 14" wide. Excellent working order.

There is one KX-W1510 Panasonic Word Processor on ebay right now. Item# 3446269969. It Ends Dec-14-03 21:07:51 PST. Today it's @ $1 and no reserve. Picture is exactly as you described & includes extras. Hope this reaches you in time... good luck!

once someone wrote how to convert a k1500 panasonic wp disk files into modern files so they can be read. But i cannot find where i saw it on the web. I have a a disk with some important files that i kept and my present pc will not read it. HELP if any one knows, please email thank you

A very important thing to keep in mind in connection with Panasonic WP'sis the hard drive. My own unit worked great until the hard drive went on it and I found the cost of repair exceeded the price I had paid for the thing when new so it was consigned to the garbage heap. In acquiring a Panasonic WP you must be sure the unit can save script to disk and recover said script or you wind up with just a lousy typewriter.

I have a Panasonic KX-W1510 Personal Word Processor that I am looking to sell, only problem is, I don't know how much they're worth. It's in mint condition, can still print and doesn't have a scratch (but there's no instruction manual). If you want it and offer a reasonable price then I'll be glad to sell it, but I live in Australia, which isn't too much of a problem. Hope this will be of any help, Jared P.S. I'm just curious, why would you want one??? Collection???

I also wish to retrieve my information stored on my 2DD flopy disc (Panasoic formt. But my machine will not now retrive this information for me. Can some one help me?

I too have a Panasonic Word Processor KX-W905 which needs a new floppy disk drive (FDD). Unfortunately, since it is discontinued, Panasonic has been no help. I've contacted several parts stores and the FDD that I need is no longer available. Thus I cannot retrieve documents from the disks that have been formatted to my KX-W905.
