The lands that have the tapping signal and says Add then it has a symbol to your mana pool.  Do you add anoter land or not?

If it is a basic land, then it is just reminding you of the normal ability that all basic lands have. Basic lands printed in the last few years dont have that reminder, and just have a big mana symbol, but it is up to you to remember that you get 1 mana from it when you tap it. If its a non-basic land that has 2 tap symbols that each do a different thing, you must pick one to do, since you cant tap something once to satisfy two tap symbols.
