Unexplained Fish Deaths?

I have a 140L tank with biological filtration (bioballs and trickle system), metal halide light and blue light and a protein skimmer. The water quality appears to be fine when tested and the tank supports numerous corals (elegance and ancora coral, corilimorphs) and two anemones (resulted from the splitting of an original one). there are a number of crabs and a couple of abalone. We are having trouble keeping fish alive though. The tank has been going for about 10 months and the dominos did well but then we changed to other fish including angels (obvious why they died - too hard to keep), Mandarin (again not unusual) but the chromis and a goby and the blenny and a yellow wrasse have all died unexpectedly. The only fish thats stayed in their through all the other fish deaths is a skunk clown and she's been in there for about 4 months now. Can you think of anything that may be in the water that is killing these fish but not harming the corals and anemones and skunk clown? we get our water from the beach and do 1/3 water changes every 2 to 3 weeks. could it be a parasite or disease? all the fish have looked healthy on the outside when they have been found dead?
