Is anybody familiar with prosthetics for dogs?  I will be getting a Mastiff into rescue who recently lost a leg. She is quite large and gets around very well but I'm concerned about the future. As she gets larger and heavier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you found an answer to this question?  Or a source?  We have a cat that may loose a leg to cancer.

Boxer Mom,   My 4 yr. old Aussie just had her left front leg amputated yesterday, teh 19th. It all started with a blood clot in her arm pit. Have been dealing with this exactly one month. If you hear of anything, I would appreciate any information on this. Thanks, Patty

Check out www.orthopets.com for dog prosthetics and bracing.  Located in Denver, Colorado, but bracing and prosthetic limbs can be made for dogs anywhere in the country.

We just had a litter of puppies yesterday.  This is the first litter and the first puppy had its back leg chewed off by the mother, she must have thought it was afterbirth.  Any answers for fitting an artificial leg?
          Thanks

I have a greyhound who may lose a leg to cancer, and has to watch he doesn't break his weakening femur. I just found this website and it gave me hope. It has info on ramps/special beds/'wheelchairs/'and prosthetics...etc.
