the only place you can connect to the central locking is in the door itself, this is because all c/locking communication is via can bus.the wiring you need is behind the door panel, the small loom that goes from the window motor to the lock unit itself, there are about 6 wires in this loom, can't remember which 2 you need, but is easy the test.you can use either o/s or n/s door.USE AN LED TEST LAMP   NOT A BULB TYPE

Is there a fuse problem if the master key is not opening all the doors of my 2001 VW Passat on the second click and if so which fuse or what other possibilities could it be? Car is 2001 Passat GLX, 6 cyl, 60000 miles. Master key works fine in all other operations. I have heard it could be cellinoids for central locking. What are cellinoids? And something called osf. Someone else has suggested a code reader that needs to be plugged in which is really quite inexpensive. I have gone thru two diagnostic in less than a month. The first said everything was running fine.  The second said I needed a $.27 fuse and now a third will be to fine out about the unlocking of all the doors. The first two each cost about $120 each? What is going on? Now I will need a third for this central locking issue?
I need an honest opinion beside this particular dealer.

got a cobra alarm for my audi coupe 1992. Unable to connect the central locking function. Alarm when armed, one wire gives a 1 second 12V positive and then goes back to constant earth - The other wire remains earth. When disarmed same happens but the other way round. The audi needs a 1 sec positive or negative pulse and then open circuit to work. any help??

central locking is "comfort" locking
positive signal to central locking
wires  situated at kick panel driver side going out to door.
white/black wire open
red/yellow wire close
in your alarm instrutions
set impulse count on alarm.1.sec.lock  28secs.close
