Hello,
I have a three and a half month old Siberian Husky pup, bred by my pair of 1 and a half year old Huskies.

When he first started to walk, I noticed that his hind legs would frequently slid open and he would end up flat on the floor. I assumed that it was due to the slippery marble and parquet flooring in my home. So I tied his hind legs together to give him more support.  The situation improved greatly after a few weeks so I stopped tying him. Now I notice that his hind legs are not straight. The top part of his legs are close together while the bottom half of his legs opens up with both feet facing outwards. His front feet are starting to point outwards too.  He runs or "hops" like a bunny. Other than this, he is a slim, happy and active puppy.  Will he outgrow this stage or is this a sign of a more serious condition?

It's a sign of a more serious condition! it sounds like your dog has "hip dysplasia." It will only get worse if not dealt with. Go to http://www.vetinfo.com/dencyclopedia/dehipdysp.html    It will give you information, signs (one of which includes hopping), and treatment. It is very important that you deal with this as soon as possible!
